Senior Business/Data Analyst, Data Analysis, Logical Models, Data Migration, Data Integration, Data Architecture, SQL, UML, Reference Data, Financial Services - Contract - (via an umbrella)

A world-renowned Financial Services organisation are looking for a Senior Business/Data Analyst to join them in London on an initial 6 month contract.

You would be joining a critical programme - migrating data from existing on-premise application into a new cloud based platform, understanding and documenting data requirements, working closely with SME's and data architects and identifying any issues in the current architecture with the long-term goal of simplification and developing a target-state logical data model.

To be successful in this role you will need;

• Demonstrable experience in the delivery of large data migration programmes
• 5+ years experience as a Business/Data Analyst preferably within the Financial Services industry
• Good understanding of financial reference and/or market reference data
• Understanding of UML and or logical data models
• Good experience with traditional RDBMS’s and expertise with SQL

This is a great opportunity for someone who has previously worked on large data programmes and is keen to continue on what is an exciting and over growing book of work.
