My client, an Investment Bank focused on linking international finance with growing opportunities in Africa, is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join their London based office on a permanent basis.
You will be supporting the data standards, data management and data quality needs through the banking, performing data quality assurance activities across the banks systems, supporting branches across Europe. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in BAU support as well as all projects that involve the banks database systems, ensuring there is good understanding of data lineage and data requirements are met. Further to this you will be defining and maintaining data model documents for systems, extracting data, creating and enhancing data reports using appropriate software’s (SSRS) and develop new databases as need by the business.
To be successful in this role you will need;
- Strong SQL skills in both MS-SQL and Oracle environments
- Proven experience with open source ETL/Data integration tools
- Experience working with complex data and produce detailed reports
- Strong attention to detail
- Good understanding of end user applications
- Experience in Banking or the wider Financial Services is highly beneficial
- Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services would be highly beneficial
