My client, a leading Financial Services organisation, are seeking an experienced Senior Governance Manager to join their London based office on a contract basis until the end of the year on a critical programme of work (initially, with a view to extend or go permanent down the line).
This role reports to the Head of Risk, which sits in the Group Risk Function covering all aspects of Operational, Financial and Strategic Risk across the organisation. This team is responsible for establishing the framework for the management of all non-financial risk supporting the business on strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for revisiting the governance committee structure for FX, creating terms of reference and dealing with escalation requirements.
To be successful you will need;
- Proven Risk Governance background in the Financial Services
- Ability to effectively document and communicate approval and escalation requirements
- Excellent Stakeholder Management
- Experience with FX
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be Available Immediately!
- Good knowledge of legislation and regulations
