##Up to £860 per day via an Umbrella Company for an intitial 6 months contract##
Our client, an Investment Management firm based in the City, are seeking an experienced Java developer to join a multi-disciplinary scrum team on a permanent basis. The team will work on both client and business focused full-stack applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with end users to gather requirements and architect/build end-to-end solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a financial services firm liaising with front, middle and back-office stakeholders. They will be familiar with Java 11+ and have good knowledge of spring and spring boot. Any experience integrating with RESTful API's and external cloud-based applications would also be highly beneficial.
- Over 5 years’ experience with Java and experience with version 11 or above
- Experience building out CI/CD pipelines using the likes of Maven/Jenkins.
- Hands on experience building out RESTful web services.
- Experience of build tools and CI/CD – e.g., Maven, Jenkins.
- Any experience with web frameworks or front-end development languages such as Angular or Javascript would be highly beneficial.
