Our client, a leading global investment management firm based in London, is seeking a Senior SecOps Engineer to join their Information Security team on a permanent basis.
This role sits within a fast-paced security function, responsible for protecting both on-premise and cloud environments. You’ll lead investigations, support project delivery, and contribute to the continuous improvement of security operations.
You’ll also play a key role in driving innovation through research, while ensuring all solutions align with governance, compliance, and audit standards. The role involves close collaboration with developers and third-party vendors to resolve complex issues, manage change securely, and maintain clear, auditable documentation.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience with public cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
- Identity and access management (SSO setup, Azure AD Premium)
- Scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, KQL)
- Microsoft Server operating systems (2016/2019) and Windows 10/11 desktop
- Microsoft security tools (M365 E5 suite, Azure Sentinel)
- Cisco network security (firewalls, cloud security gateways, network access control)
- DLP, IDS/IPS and SIEM
- Pen-testing methodologies and common tools (Kali Linux)
- Security frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, CIS)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Service ownership, documentation and incident response capabilities
- Experience working within the Investment Management or Private Equity industry
