Our client, a leading global fund manager based in the City, are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join their Global Technology team to support their major transformation project.
The successful candidate will be part of a high-profile project focused on building bespoke Global Solutions particularly enhancing their Performance Measurement, Attribution, Analytics and Risk systems. You will also have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and follow a cloud-first approach as part of a multi-year programme.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced software engineer with the ability to effectively drive, take ownership and manage multiple projects competing business demands and priorities.
You will need the willingness to liaise with senior stakeholders and other senior members of the team as well as the ability to resolve complex problems offering innovative ideas to solutions.
Skills required:
- Excellent knowledge of C# and .Net
- Experience with Azure
- Front-end experience with Angular or React
- Enthusiasm and passion for technology
- Financial Services experience – nice to have (ideally buy-side) but not essential
- Experience with micro-service development and API development
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
