Senior Software Engineer - C#, .Net, React, Azure, Microservices - Financial Services  - London - up to £105,000 base

Our client, a leading Asset Manager in the City are looking for a Senior Developer to join their Portfolio Management Technology team, sitting within the Front Office.

The successful candidate will be tasked with re-architecting and re-platforming legacy platforms using the latest tech stack. You will work on the properiatey development of their Portfolio and Order Management Systems.
They need someone who has the ability to conceptualise the end state and understand working towards a platform solution rather than just coding.

Skills:
  • Bachelors (IT/Computer Science/ Relevant Engineering) or Master’s Degree preferred (IT/Computer Science Preferred/Financial Engineering) or equivalent experience developing quality code and software delivery artifacts
  • Excellent understanding of .NET frameworks 
  • Some understanding of microservices, docker, Kubernetes, JavaScript (Angular/React) - Nice to have
  • Expert Level data programming in SQL server, informatica and other ETL tools and experience with NoSQL, relational database design, and methods for efficiently retrieving data for Time Series Analytics.
  • Understanding of Cloud environment and related deployment strategies/ experience with Cloud architecture & services in Azure
