A Senior Software Engineer is currently being sought after by a global specialty insurance and reinsurance company, looking for someone with experience using C++ and Python (3.0 or above) to help architect and design scalable solutions.
You would be working within a small team assisting in the development of numerous applications within their analytics and risk platform, which would require you to deliver high quality and scalable pieces of code in C++ alongside delivering several APIs in Python.
You would be required to go into the office 2/3 days a week.
To be successful in this role, you would need the following:
- Strong hands-on experience coding in the latest versions of C++
- Prior experience using Python (versions 3.0 or above) is essential.
- Good understanding Kubernetes, or other Kluster Management tools is highly beneficial.
- Any exposure to front-end technologies such as React OR QT is beneficial, but not essential.
- Previous Financial Service/Insurance experience is preferred.
