Are you a seasoned professional in the realm of SOX compliance and transformation? Do you possess the technical prowess and hands-on experience required to lead a team through the intricacies of SOX requirements and implementations? Our client, a boutique consultancy in London's financial service district are on the lookout for a SOX contractor to work on a Finance Transformation project for their end client.

Role Overview: Looking for a SOX Transformation Lead to join our client on a 6-month initial contract basis. As the SOX Transformation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and implementing SOX control environments, with a specific focus on End User Computing (EUC) and IT Process Environment (IPE). Your expertise will be instrumental in driving transformation initiatives, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks associated with SOX requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the transformation efforts of SOX control environments, with a particular emphasis on EUC and IPE.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance existing SOX frameworks and controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, design, and implement SOX compliance solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on SOX compliance best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement within the SOX control environment.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends related to SOX compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on SOX compliance and transformation.
• Experience in insurance markets (Lloyd's market preferred)
• Hands-on experience in implementing and enhancing SOX control environments, specifically in EUC and IPE.
• In-depth knowledge of SOX requirements, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Qualified Accountant is a must.
