My Client, a leading Financial Markets infrastructure organisation, is seeking an experienced SQL Engineer to join their London based team on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for building business solutions by configuring the basic platform, in line with the business requirements taken from the product team. This platform is a Regulatory Reporting, Trade Repository and Data Integration platform, so you will be working with large financial data sets, building and optimizing scalable and robust solution.
To be successful in this role you will need;
- Excellent SQL Server knowledge and extensive experience
- Proven experience working with large data sets and performance tuning SQL Queries
- Previous experience using XML
- Previous experience working in the financial services industry is beneficial but not mandatory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging time frames
