Our client, a reputable Financial Services firm based in the City are recruiting a System Tester on a contract basis to join a a brand-new team responsible for Front Office Technology improvement working across a variety of business-critical applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the identification inefficiencies and improvement opportunities as well as performing bug fixes and upgrades.
This is a 6 month contract inside IR35/PAYE paying £600 per day.
The ideal candidate will have extensive manual and some automation testing experience within relevant financial organisations. They will have worked across a wide variety of business applications and will have previously experience with Murex (within the past 3 years although they don't need to be a Murex SME), and any additional experience with other industry technology such as Markit EDM / Cadis would be highly beneficial. The team will operate in a structured agile methodology and experience utilising Scrum or Kanban is highly desirable.
Experience required:
- Ability to create, identify and adapt reusable test scripts that meet quality and risk requirements.
- Circa 6 to 12 months hands-on Murex testing experience within the last 3 years, as well as experience working on other front-office business applications.
- Ability to provide input to continuous improvement processes across all aspects of testing e.g. testing framework, environments, interaction with and support of UAT
- Experience working within structured Scrum/Agile processes is a necessity
