Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented Technical Business Analyst Contractor to join our client, a boutique InsureTech consultancy based in London. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, and it requires someone with exceptional analytical skills and a strong understanding of IT systems. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and drive the implementation of technical solutions, including CAT (Catastrophe) modeling.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and specifications.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed solutions.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and technical specifications.
- Assist in the testing and implementation of technical solutions.
- Provide support and training to end-users as needed.
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst with an insurance background.
- Lloyd's of London Markets experience is essential, strong knowledge of London Market operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of IT systems and software development lifecycle.
- Experience with CAT (Catastrophe) modeling is essential.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
