Reflecting the increasing importance of accurate wordings within contracts, my Insurance client is seeking an experienced wording specialist to join their central contracts team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and updating new products in collaboration with Underwriters.
- Assist in the timely review of wordings and associated documentation.
- Communicate and negotiate with external clients and colleagues (in particular, Underwriting, Claims, Risk, Legal & Compliance) in order to establish good working relationships.
- Candidates with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in drafting or contract review either via their role in wordings, legal, claims, compliance of other similar Insurance roles.
- Up to date knowledge of wordings and technical requirements relating to London Market Insurance placements across various classes including, Marine, Aviation, FINPRO, P&C.
- Ability to present complex insurance wordings in a simple consumer friendly manner.
