Rob Baldock

​Rob joined Cornwallis Elt in 2012, with over 20 years’ experience in agency recruitment, where he worked as a Principal Consultant within the Insurance practice. Having left Cornwallis Elt in early 2021, Rob returned to lead the Insurance team in July 2023.

Q: What attracted you to Cornwallis Elt?

A: Having worked at Cornwallis Elt for 9 years, and then returning after 2 years away, I was keen to return to a company that had a real presence within Financial Services, an excellent array of clients and that gave me the ability to head up a Practice and manage a team again.

Q: How would you describe the environment at Cornwallis Elt?

A: I feel that the environment at Cornwallis is very much based around collaboration between teams, support of each other through good times as well as when the markets are tough, but also a fun place to work. After 24 years of agency side recruitment, I still enjoy coming into work and much of that is to do with my work environment.

Q: What do you enjoy about working at Cornwallis Elt?

A: The people, I genuinely enjoy working with them at Cornwallis Elt, the support from the business to help you to be successful and the opportunity the company gives you to progress your career.
