Connectivity Engineer - FIX protocol, C++, Java, Linux, E-Trading


My client, a global e-trading solutions provider in the investment management space, are actively seeking an experienced Connectivity Engineer to join the small, London-based team on a permanent basis.
Tasked with developing real-time connectivity software, this team use C++ and Java and take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, ensuring that solutions are resilient and adaptive, keeping in line with network changes. In addition to designing and developing client-facing connectivity services, the successful candidate will also be hands-on with automation testing, 3rd line production issues and general process improvement. 

To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Strong software development experience across e-trading or e-trading system providers
- Specialised knowledge and experience in connectivity solutions
- FIX protocol expertise 
- Programming experience in C++ and Java
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux servers
- Working knowledge of SQL
