Entra Application Administrator – Entra ID/ Azure AD, SSO, SAML - Contract, London, £450 p/d Inside IR35
My client, a leading global events and exhibitions company, is looking for an experienced Entra Applications Administrator to play a pivotal role in a major global Single Sign-On (SSO) rollout. This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to an identity transformation project within a dynamic, forward-thinking technology team.
Working on a global initiative, you will help connect internal and SaaS applications to Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), ensuring secure, seamless user access across a diverse enterprise environment. Working closely with application owners, security leads, and global stakeholders, you’ll own the technical integration and support of enterprise applications - enabling a modern, secure sign-in experience for users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the onboarding of enterprise and SaaS applications into Entra ID SSO (SAML, OIDC, OAuth)
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to configure, test, and validate secure SSO integrations
• Troubleshoot authentication issues using trace tools, browser dev tools, and Entra sign-in logs
• Ensure all integrations meet Zero Trust and least-privilege security standards
• Maintain trust relationships via certificate and key management
• Act as an internal subject matter expert on Entra ID and SSO best practices
Key Skills
• Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and enterprise SSO integration
• Strong knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and identity federation concepts
• Familiar with certificate-based authentication, token signing, and key lifecycle management
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with tools like Fiddler, browser dev tools, and trace analysers
• Experience supporting global IAM or digital transformation projects highly desirable
