A global fintech based in the City of London is looking to hire a MT4 / MetaTrader Application Support Engineer to join the trading application support team on a permanent basis. This is a highly varied role where you will not only be responsible for supporting the MetaTrader 4 platform but working closely alongside development and devops to implement continuous improvements and changes/enhancements.
This is an opportunity for someone who is truly passionate about IT/Technology to work with a devops team to analyse, plan and implement improvements to support and business processes.
Essential Skills
- Good experience of supporting MT4 and or MT5 platforms
- MetaTrader 4 Administration Experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Knowledge of Red Hat Linux
- Good scripting experience (Powershell, Shell, Bash, Python)
- Experience of SQL query writing
- FX / Forex / Foreign Exchange / eFX / Electronic Trading / eTrading
