Solution Architect – Cloud & Digital Transformation | Manchester (Hybrid)
A global financial services leader is seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable cloud and digital transformation solutions. This is a permanent, hybrid role (3 days per week in Manchester) and pays up to £80,000 with bonus, pension and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and document end-to-end architectures for large-scale cloud and digital programmes.
- Lead technical design and governance to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps and business teams to validate and deliver modern, cloud-native solutions.
- Define and enforce technical standards, patterns, and best practices.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect on cloud transformation initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of Azure, APIs, microservices and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and modelling techniques (UML, BPMN, ArchiMate).
- Practical experience with DevOps, CI/CD and security architecture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
