My client, a leading Global Financial Services Institution based in London are seeking a Business Manager to join them on a permanent basis. You would be supporting the COO team focusing on market infrastructure, clearing, and equity products.
The ideal candidate will have core data and analytical expertise and strong senior stakeholder management skills that can be applied to supporting the COO functions within the business. In addition, strong financial product knowledge e.g., equities, clearing, bonds or repos is also beneficial. You will be responsible for the strategic delivery of operations, whilst also generating data reports and be the first point of contact for all operational issues.
Skillset/ Experience:
- Either have a couple years’ experience as a Business Manager or be a Data and Analytics SME paired with stakeholder management experience, preferably within a Financial Service organisation
- Solid data reporting, data analysis experience and overall data understanding experience – able to visually represent key data and processes in an easy manner
- Excellent Excel skills
- Great communication skills and an ability to deal with both technical and business stakeholders
- Proven experience in problem solving with an ability to deliver solutions to these issues
- Confident in challenging the status quo
