Cyber Security Project Manager – Contract / Project Planning / Agile / Stakeholder Management – London/Hybrid - £650pd Outside IR35

Our client, a global media organisation, is in the market for a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Project Manager to join the business until at least the end of the year.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing various cyber security projects through from inception to completion, ensuring their timely delivery within scope and budget. You will also effectively liaise with multiple stakeholders, such as IT teams, security specialist and business units to solidify cohesive and robust security measures to protect digital assets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both project management and cyber security, with evidence of driving projects in an Agile and fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
• Project Planning & Execution – develop comprehensive project plans / lead project kick-off meetings establishing clear objectives and expectations / managing project execution and progress
• Stakeholder Coordination & Communication – collaborate with internal terms to align project objectives / act as point of contact for all project communications / facilitate regular project meetings to provide updates and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• SCRUM – serve as Scrum Master for agile teams / remove obstacles and ensure the team has all necessary resources to deliver high-quality cyber security solutions / foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Risk Management & Compliance – identify areas of risk and vulnerabilities to develop appropriate mitigation strategies with teams / ensure adherence to relevant cyber security standards, regulations and best practice / conduct post-implementation reviews to assess effectiveness of security measures, recommending improvements where appropriate.

Key skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
• Relevant cyber security certifications e.g. CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ etc.
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles, practices and frameworks e.g. NIST, ISO27001 etc
• Proficiency in project management tools/software such as ADO, MS Project
