A large-scale global multi-media organisation based in London are looking for a Head of Technology to take responsibility for their key internal technology services. You will be managing a small team of senior leads within specialised areas to assure adherence to core standards as well as supporting the development of strategic plans through talent mapping and coaching initiatives.
This position will also have a focus around integrated service delivery, and you will be accountable for ensuring appropriate service SLA's are met with a customer centric approach as well as encompassing engineering, integration, testing and release management of the platforms. The core business systems cover their key internal business domains, and you will be supporting the building of the ‘brand’ of business platforms both internally and externally.
The ideal candidate will be a Technology Professional with 20+ years of experience across strategy, transformation, and programme delivery as well as recent experience working in senior leadership positions working with C-suite.
Key Competencies:
- Experience managing global teams and working in an international and cross-cultural organisation.
- Broad technical expertise combined with strong leadership and communication capabilities.
- A background in Service Management and Programme Delivery as well as adopting DevOps principles and best practices.
- Strong underlying technical expertise is critical.
- Operational experience of costing and resource planning large global teams.
- An adept manager of senior technical professionals who can diplomatically balance and prioritise the needs of all stakeholders.
- Direct experience of platforms technology within a global matrix-structured organisation would be desirable.
