Our client, a leading investment bank are looking for an Auditor for the Cross Divisional Operations team in a new Group Audit function, to assist the bank on various operational areas to identify key control weaknesses.
The team is looking to grow to 30 people in Birmingham in areas including Technology, CDO, Investment banking and IT Audit. You will be joining the organisation at a time of change and will contribute by playing a major role in developing the culture.
Your responsibilities will include.
- Evaluating the adequacy of internal controls related to CDO managed audits following guidelines of group audit regulations.
- Document process flows, identify risk, assess controls, perform audit testing. In addition, track and validate closure of internal audit and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous monitoring and risk assessment of group audit in CDO environment.
- Work on hoc projects
Required Experience:
- Preferably experience in internal or external audit or relevant banking or finance experience.
- Knowledge of either Client Lifecycle Management, KYC, Payments, Reference Data, IT or Risk
- Knowledge of operational lifecycle is beneficial, Reference data services, lending operations or audit confirmation processing.
