Junior Software Developer - Pricing & Analytics, XML, Python, STEM Degree, Insurance, Permanent 

A well respected Insurance Syndicate is looking for a Junior Software Developer or Graduate to join their Actuarial Division, specifically in the Rulebook team which used for pricing and analytics. You will be supporting the delivery across the businessess key strategic initiatives, including a new pricing model coupled with the development of predictive models. The business are in the process of a large scale implementation of Sequel Rulebook which is transforming the way that they distribute pricing across the firm. Rulebook is a market leading pricing and distribution tool which they are implementing in to allow them to create a world-class underwriting platform. 

Skills and Experience 

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

- A degree in a STEM subject from a top university would be highly advantageous. 
- Experience of coding in Python, XML or C++. You will be taught XML in this role but any prior experience would be a huge bonus. 
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
