A well-respected Insurance Syndicate based in the heart of the City of London is looking for a Principal Software Developer to join their Technology & Data team.
In this role, you’ll be participating in the innovation and delivery of technology and software solutions that support the businesses objectives. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be working with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and highly agile driven teams to identify and improve tools, systems and platforms that enhance their ability to create solutions and services for their clients.
The role will translate business needs and functional designs into functioning software and deliver common foundation architecture components that conform to known successful patterns that support their evolution towards the future-state architecture.
To be successful in this role you must possess the following:
- Extensive experience as a hands-on Python Developer demonstrated across multiple successful projects.
- Solid experience with Front-end technologies with a preference towards React or JavaScript.
- Experience of delivering projects in a fully hosted Azure environment will be a huge benefit but if worked in GCP or AWS do not hesitate to apply.
- Solid experience of working in an Agile Delivery environment.
- A background in Insurance or Financial Services would be significantly helpful in this role, but do not hesitate to apply if all the other skills match.
