A Senior Angular Developer is sought by a leading Asset Management firm based in the City to join their Front Office Data Analytics Group, which provide modern analytics platforms and tools to support the quant and trading desks across the business.
You will specifically be working on the frontend and data operation toolset of their strategic analytics platform, which is a new AWS-hosted N-tier application being spearheaded by the group.
Despite working in a specialist financial domain, the organisation is open to candidates from other domains working with cutting edge technology.
Candidates must have:
- Strong background in Frontend/UI development, specifically with JavaScript and Angular (ideally in data-heavy environments)
- Further experience of CSS3, HTML5, TypeScript and other frontend tools would be extremely useful.
- Experience working with AWS cloud would be highly beneficial
- A background working in Agile Scrum environments, following TDD/BDD and Devops principles
- Experience in mentoring/overseeing Junior Developers including undertaking code review, as well as leadership of small teams for specific tasks.
- As a Senior Developer, demonstrate the ability to oversee significant pieces of development within larger projects

Please note this will be offered on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) basis for an initial period of 12 months
