Senior C# Developer - .Net, C#, AWS, Messaging, Multithreading, Front Office, Portfolio Management Technology - Investment Management – City of London - 12 month FTC paying up to £150,000 + benefits
A Senior C#/.Net developer is sought after by a global Investment Manager to join one of their Front Office technology teams on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This team are responsible for owning and managing their Order Management System (OMS), working directly with their Trading/Portfolio Management desks.
Specifically, you will be working on a critical programme to modernise their Foreign Exchange (FX) Order Management and data distribution capabilities, driving the design and development of modern microservices architecture and aiding in ongoing migration to AWS (any public cloud experience considered).
Desired Skills:
- Strong C#/.Net experience and understanding of topics including Multithreading, Concurrency, Messaging etc.
- Good experience designing and building modern microservices
- A background delivering technology solutions in Front Office (preferably on buy-side, but also open to sell-side)
- Experience of Charles River or similar OMS vendor technology is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of public cloud (ideally AWS) and how to deploy services onto cloud infrastructure
