My client, a leading global data consultancy are looking for Service Delivery Manager to join their team on a permanent basis in London.
You will be accountable for the effective delivery of complex, high-risk products and services as well as having using your experience across a range of products and services throughout the product life cycle to be a key point of escalation. Reporting directly into the Senior Director, your responsibilities will include being able to manage different types of technical activities such as management of backlogs, running mini projects/products, creating, and implementing a support model and stepping in where required to support senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience coaching and leading teams in Agile and Lean practices.
- Experience taking responsibility of complex relationships with contracted suppliers.
- Strong stakeholder communications skills and mediator between people.
- Knowledge of how to negotiate, influence or set budgets in complex environments.
- Experience managing product backlogs.
- Experience optimising the delivery flow of teams.
- Prior experience leading continual planning processes in a large and complex environment.
- Proven background with identifying problems within teams and finding solutions to rectify them.
