A leading Investment Manager are currently seeking an Engineering Lead to join a recently established ESG technology team within front office IT. This is a permanent opportunity and the client are offering up to £115,000 base + bonus and benefits aside.
Within this role, you will be working closely with the ESG Product Owner and business stakeholders to provide the technical guidance and the strategical architectural vision needed to underpin the clients ESG strategy. You will also be expected to manage and mentor more junior staff members.
This is a hands-on technical role in a team with a varied roadmap of greenfield projects planned. You will be expected to take ownership of key initiatives from design to delivery and to contribute to the architecture and development practices, utilising modern technology.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experienced with Microsoft technologies such as .Net Core (3.1+) and C#
- Experienced with Angular (7+) and Databricks
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms (AWS)
- Experience working in the Investment Management / Investment Banking sector required
- Experience with Python is preferred
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience with micro services and API developments is beneficial
