An InsureTech based in the City of London are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join them on a permanent basis out of their London office.
As a business, they were incepted at the back end of 2020 and were the largest ‘start up’ that year. Subsequently over the past two years they have grown out to just over 90 people and are continuously evolving. Their main aim is to revolutionise how business is conducted in the Lloyd’s Market via the use of Algorithmic Trading and they have created a broker platform using Machine Learning to do this.
This is an exciting change to an industry which hasn’t been touched for the past 300 years and they’re seeing rapid success already!
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, setting up and maintaining the test automation frameworks and tools to support the businesses product squads. As well as providing technical expertise to the wider team, helping them establish, develop the test suites they need to support delivery.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:
- Extensive experience in test automation roles working with industry standard automation frameworks, specifically Cucumber & Seleneium.
- Experience using common test tooling such as REST-assured to test API's.
- A background in developing and maintaining sophisticated test suites to support business critical software components.
- A solid competency building test suits in a modern programming language with a preference towards Java.
- Experience working in an Agile environment including collaborating with a Product team.
- Previous industry experience of Test Automation in either Financial Markets, FinTech’s or InsureTech’s will be favoured.
