A well respect global Insurance business is looking to hire an Analytics Manager into their Reinsurance division. This is a truly unique role as it’s the first of its kind in the business as they look to push towards a more data centric organisation. The core focus of this role is to support the Underwriting team across the UK, France, Germany, and the USA to deliver insights into how their business performance can increase.
Key Responsibilities
- Building metric scorecards based on insights gained to help drive the Underwriters decision making at the risk and portfolio level.
- Being the central steward for using underwriting and actuarial data to ensure that there is consistency at a global level.
- Work with their central data delivery team to ensure the build-out of a consistent view of data.
- It is imperative to have worked in a senior analytics role in a Reinsurance firm. Any candidates without reinsurance knowledge will be rejected, so please do not apply.
- It is also important to have a solid foundation in the inner workings of Power BI or any other data visualization tool.
- You will need a strong desire to influence and educate members of the front office on how your data can improve their ways of working.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering is a requirement.
