A cloud engineer is currently being sought after by a global data-driven intelligence organisation to improve the scalability and security of their current AWS infrastructure and mitigate any potential vulnerabilities across the environment.
You would be required to assess and manage their current AWS infrastructure, which involves adjusting the current infrastructure to better support applications and troubleshooting the network pipelines to ensure they are highly reliable and scalable. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, which include the software development and network security teams.
To be successful in this role, you would need the following:
- Strong hands-on experience working on Amazon Cloud Services, in particular patch deployments and network administration, is essential.
- Previous experience maintaining or building out network infrastructure is highly beneficial.
- Good hands-on experience setting pipelines via Terraform and AWS is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience utilising scripts for automation, e.g., Python and PowerShell
