One of our global London market Insurance clients is currently on the search for an experienced Data Analyst to join their Digital Transformation team as part of the Data & Analytics division.
This role will play an essential part in helping the team to deliver its objectives under the DDO strategic programme. You will be responsible for liaising with the development team, using your analysis skills and experience to break down complex requirements and enabling developers to engage and deliver correct solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help the business get the best out of their data
- Gain knowledge of the data teams processes and functions to play an effective role as a custodian of our values and operating methods – you will act as a guide to those looking to engage the team
- Help the data team in its day-to-day operations, responding to add hoc incoming requests and advising those who ask for assistance
- Help maintain the teams documentation (for both systems and processes) and work independently on a range of projects
- Ensure solutions are tested from the beginnings of its development to release.
- Experience with application of native AWS technology advantageous
- Experience with SQL and general database principles
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- London market or Insurance experience
- Knowledge, experience and understanding of ETL processes including the ability to analyse existing ETL
- Global stakeholder management to articulate a business problem into a technical requirement and replay back to the requirement owner
- Good understanding of data lake and warehouse systems, their function, and the business requirements they are intended to service.
