Data Manager – Data Management, Data Analysis, Data Quality, Governance, Data Models, Commercial Bank – £75,000 - £85,000 base

A rapidly growing high-tech Commercial Bank are looking for a Data Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, to help support the business and technical teams to implement and continue the data management across the bank, and to remediate any data-quality issues.

As a Data Manager, you will be responsible for implementing data management policies and procedures and to establish the data definitions, business rules and data quality metrics. You will also support the wider Data Office to understand and influence data management policies, procedures, associated implementation plans and controls.

The ideal candidate will have strong data management experience, preferably within Financial Services,

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous data management experience, preferably within Financial Services
  • Ability to create data definitions, policies and procedure, whilst being able to establish the business data requirements.
  • Ability to use tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs (PowerQuery/ Data Models)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the business and technical teams
