Senior Technical Architect – FIX, Trading, Solution Architect, Cloud, Azure, London (Hybrid Working)

My client, a leading financial services platform provider, is currently looking for an architect to lead the design and development of their new greenfield FIX platform.

The platform provides market access for over 2000 clients to trade and is the flagship platform in the businesses. Due to technical enhancements and the opportunity for future growth, the platform is being redesigned and engineered, leveraging cloud technologies to create a new and improved product.  

This role will provide the opportunity to lead design, working closely with the Business and agile development teams to define FIX architecture. You will need to cover application, security, network and infrastructure architecture.

Candidates must have:

• Deep Architecture expertise in FIX technologies including the FIX protocol, FIX engines, FIX Hubs and infrastructure
• Azure architecture experience
• High performance and low latency/jitter messaging infrastructures

• Experience in Cloud technologies particularly Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, databases, serverless.
