As a Membership Sales Manager you will lead the sales efforts for an Executive Membership events portfolio, a premium membership offering targeted at C-suite executives. This role is pivotal in driving membership revenue by managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead nurturing to contract negotiation and membership retention. The successful candidate will work closely with the Memberships Director to set and achieve pipeline targets, develop outbound sales strategies, and maintain a high-quality membership base. Building and sustaining strong relationships with businesses, monitoring sales KPIs, and collaborating cross-functionally with account managers and marketing teams are key aspects of the role. The role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
- Manage and develop the sales pipeline to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
- Lead the entire sales process from lead follow-up to contract closure, ensuring membership quality and yield.
- Design and implement outbound B2B membership growth strategies.
- Develop and maintain lead nurturing programmes to maximise conversion rates.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new membership prospects.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with members to drive recurring revenue and upsell opportunities.
- Monitor member satisfaction, gather feedback, and suggest improvements to the membership programme.
