Our client, a leading financial infrastructure and data provider, are seeking an experienced Rust Developer to join the business.
The individual must be proficient in creating robust, efficient, and scalable applications using Rust programming language.
As a Rust Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects including migration projects where you will be responsible for training and mentoring others, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of valuable software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Rust.
- Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets project requirements.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects to ensure optimal performance.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experience using other programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Demonstrable experience developing software applications using Rust.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and data structures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This is an initial 6-month, Inside IR35 contract.
