Our client, a leading global fund manager based in the City, are seeking Senior Software Engineers to be part of their Research Technology team focussing on evolving proprietary global, cross-asset Investment Research systems.
This role is paying up to £110,000 depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be part of a high-profile project focused on building bespoke Global Solutions particularly a critical cross asset research engine for the business. The successful applicant will be working with the latest cloud technology and be part of a multi-year timeframe and multi-million £ budget.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced software engineer with the ability to effectively manage time across multiple projects and with competing business demands and priorities.
Having a demonstrable passion for technology and experienced working within Financial Services, (ideally buy-side organisations) is critical.
Willingness to help the team and liaising with senior stakeholders and other senior member of the team as well as an ability to resolve complex problems positively and professionally and show initiative to seek and achieve improvements to processes and technology is essential.
Skills required:
- Excellent knowledge of C# and Angular
- Excellent knowledge of .Net core (at least version 3.1)
- Experience with Azure
- Financial Services experience (ideally buy-side)
- Experience with micro-service development and API development
- Databricks and Python development experience is beneficial
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
